Calcium deposits in ground pool tile

 I live in area of very hard water, dumping some of pool water and refilling will not be of any benefit.  How should I proceed to remove calcium build up on tile

Thank you for contacting Inyo. You can use a mixture of muriatic acid and water to remove calcium build-up on the tiles. I would start with a 4 parts water to 1 part acid ration. Always add acid to water and not the other way around. Spray the mixture onto the tile and scrub it with something that's non-abrasive.

Our friend David, over at Swimming Pool Tips and Tricks, has a different method. He recommends using a 220 wet and dry sandpaper to remove the calcium on the tiles. Below is his video.
