Our pool motor was completley rusted out and needed to be replaced. We bought the UST1102 and insatlled it. We turned it on and it started to run but it made a ticking sound. We realized the motor was set to 230V but our old one was set to 115V. I changed it to 115V and it wouldnt turn on. i checked and it tripped the breaker. i flipped the breaker back but instatnyl is trips it again (it wont stay on for a second). I switched it back to 230V but the breaker still trips instantly. Our motor worked last year and it never tripped like this. What is casuing it to trip and not stay on for a second? i gave it a few hours but it keeps happening.
