B2984T Error (OVERCURRENT Fault error 7)

Just replaced my old US Motors K63CXDFR-5154 with a new B2984T and I am now getting an OVERCURRENT Fault error 7 on startup. And I have removed power and rotated the shaft four times with no success. I had emailed INYO Pools before I purchased the B2984T with a photo of my old motor to make sure the new motor would be compatible with my current setup. What do I need to do to fix the problem?

 Hello Jako800 - We'd be glad to assist you. B2984 is the correct 2-speed replacement for your ASB748 motor. This error code is usually the result of a defective motor.
