Will a 19 inch sand filter with a 1 1/2 pump work for a 15x52 above ground pool

Yes, a 19" sand filter and 1.5HP pump would be suffient for a 15'x52" pool. You could get by with a 3/4HP pump on a 15' round pool.

My bad it is a 22x52 not 15x52 how does that change the dinamic probably gonna have to go up?

The 1.5HP would be a good size for a 22' foot. I wouldn't go any higher.
It would have worked with the 15' but it would have been overkill.
