I currently have a Pentair Wisperflo 2hp (WFE-8) pump/motor.  My pool/spa control is a Goldline Aqua Logic (AQL-PS-8). I’m wanting to upgrade to a variable speed motor.  I also want to control the speeds of the motor via my remote (speed change with pool/spa function change) - not at the pump itself.  I believe I have two logical choices 1) the V-Green 2.7 HP Square Flange Variable speed motor (ECM27SQU).  But to make this compatible with my controller, I also need V-Green Automation Adapter (2517501-01).  The automation adapter is currently back order with no estimated ship date.  This solution also makes use of the existing pump (I know this is possible but not sure if its ideal/optimal.)

My choice 2) is the Hayward Super Pump (W3SP2603VSP).  This option replaces both the motor and the pump which would require a small plumping modification (not a big deal).  And, I think? Its compatible with my Goldline control - no other part(s) are needed?     It would be very helpful to me to have verification of my above assumptions, opinions as to which option is best and why, and if there are other options I should consider.    Thanks!!!
