Hello. I recently got some excellent assistance from one of your people. Here's the thread: https://www.inyopools.com/forum/thread/old-pump-to-new-pump-energy-efficient-propeller/

It was suggested to get the PureLineVariable Speed pump here: http://www.inyopools.com/Products/44400018080440.htm

I was just about to make the order and saw the article posted this morning here: http://www.inyopools.com/Blog/poolside-chat-episode-46-what-do-i-need-to-control-a-dual-speed-motor/

So, will the Pureline require multiple wiring connections? I really don't want to mess with installing another electrical line.

Thanks again for your help.

Hello PumpUpgrade - That's a great question. The variable speed pumps do not need any sort of special wiring. They wire up just like a single speed motor.

Also, you will not need any additional equipment to make it work. Everything can be controlled directly from the panel on top of the motor.
