Can you replace the above with 1.65hp ECM16CU? Do you need any extra parts for a Aqualink RS4 control panel?

Hello Kwbond - You can replace the UST1152 with the variable speed model ECM16CU. We would recommend replacing the seals when you replace the motor.
The Aqualink will not need additional parts. The Aqualink would provide power to the ECM16CU but all of the controls would be programmed at the motor.
