Unsure of parts I need

I'm not sure what parts I need since I can't clearly make out the model number on my valve head or filter body. The most I can make out is its the SS240 model filter. The issue I'm having is my handle for the valve head is super loose and I don't think it's sealing properly inside because I'm losing water through the backwash port no matter which way the filter is set. So my question is could it be a bad spring and spider gasket? Would I be better off just replacing the entire 7 way valve? If so can you give me and idea on what specific parts I'd need?

Hi Bryan,

If you have a Jacuzzi SS240 sand filter then you can view all the parts for your filter on our Jacuzzi Splash Pak SS240 Parts Page I would suggest replacing your entire valve. The SS240 uses this Jacuzzi SS240 Backwash Valve by replacing your valve with this valve you should be back in business.

Thank You

I have a Purex Triton sand filter and it has a Pentair SM-20-3 model SM2-PP3 2" Multiport valve. I need to know what repair kit I need. My valve has a spring plus all gaskets . kits I have seen don't have the gasket. my numbers on the valve have come off in some places so I think the ones I gave you are correct. Can you help me get the correct repair kit.

Thanks,

Mark
