I have SeaBlue attached to the USQ1152 pool pump motor and trying to disconnect it from the motor to install new one. Not able to detach it from the motor. Any suggestions on what to do. I have taken some pics as belowPool motor and attached from SeaBlueSeaBlue basket

We'd be glad to assist you. Check out the video below. It will show you how to remove the impeller. Start at the 3:58 mark.

Thanks for the help. I have installed it, but when I turned it on, it tried to run and died and does not come back on. I believe I wired it correctly. I can open it up and see if wires are still in place. Other than that, the only other thing I rmemeber is that I did not have to hold the shaft to put the front "stuff" on, as the shaft did not move. Not sure if I needed to do anything on the shaft on the new motor to release it. Any help? Thanks

There is no shaft release on the pump motors; it should spin freely. The first step would be to recheck all wiring, confirming the connections are tight, and the correct voltage is set on the motor. If all that checks out but the motor still does not turn, then I would remove the motor from the pump, to check if you can spin the motor shaft by hand. If the shaft is stiff, then you likely have a defective motor.

Thanks for the reply. I think I have two problems.

1. I did not lock the shaft before putting impeller on and the impeller was not tight. However,

2. Looking at the ceramic piece, it has two loose holders and that made the motor attachment uneven as shown below in pic. Not sure if that is an issue and I should replace it, which may mean replacing the whole thing as I have not seen SeaBlue anywhere. Please advise. I think power connections were good and set at 230
