2 speed pool pump. High speed will only run 10-15 minutes and then stop. Low speed will run constantly on that setting. if changed from high to low setting after high setting stops running, you can immediately go to slow setting. High will resume operation after being off for a few minutes, or even after slow speed has been running for a while.Pump runs silently, the shaft turns easily. the pump pumps the water efficiantly when it runs. Casing gets hot but not too hot to touch. It is a Waterway Millenium 1 1/2 hp.2 speed. Plugged into a GFI circuit. It came wired for 115 with a cord and plug attached. Ran well for about 1 year. Removed, drained, and stored in garage in winter. Any ideas what could be wrong? Seems like if it was thermal related that you couldn't go directly to low and have the motor run. Possible Run Capacitor?
