The lower side port fitting on my Triton II TR-60 broke, and I need to replace it. The assembly consists of the side port with O-ring and is attached with a 2" nut inside the filter. I don't want to have to dig into the filter after I assemble the new side port. How tight should the nut be? I assume only the O-ring should have teflon lube.
Actual stack is: Bulkhead fitting - bulkhead gasket - extermal washer - O-ring : FILTER internal spacer - internal locknut.
