I goofed and ran my pump for about 3 days with the water to the filter shut off!  The valves to the pump where open, just the valve to the filter was closed. When I opened the valve to the filter and turned the pump on, water was spraying from the sealplate.  When I pulled the sealplate and diffuser off, I noticed the impellar screw was laying dislodged inside the impellar!

Wondering what all I should inspect and/or replace since I have the pump pulled apart to replace the sealplate gasket. Replace the shaft seal too? All gaskets that may have melted? The entire motor?!

We would recommend replacing all of the seals while you have the pump open. Also check the diffuser, impeller, and basket for any damage. The good news is that the motor turned on and may not need to be replaced.

Replaced seals, as recommended. Motor is louder than before, but no leaks!
