Any suggestions on how to remedy striped threads on lid for the air relief valve?
Any kind of insert?

John, you may be able to use waterproof teflon around the threads of the air relief. If there is enough thread left, the tape may grab extra, and seal. If that doesn't work, you may need to replace that air relief assembly or lid that it is threaded into.

i tried that but it didn't work. I used a 1/2 inch bait well plug with a cam closure. It worked great.
