How to unclock blocked skimmer line. Blocked with leaves from spring opening, too many leaves at once! I have had this happen before and i have been able to clear the line with the expanding water hose end made out of rubber that has a small opening and runs water through at high pressure. It is not working this time. Any other products or tricks I can try?

We'd recommend feeding an electrician's fish tape through the line. It's a thin metal wire that is flexible enough to make the 90° elbow turns.

Posted below is an update from Filbert.
I did get the wire line and ran through from the skimmer side. It was not long enough to get all the way to the pump motor/filter area. But after removing it, I tried the hose again and this time the leaves started trickling out. So the wire may have loosened them up a bit. I did not feel any resistance when running the wire through, so I assumed I never reached the blockage. The blockage is gone and the filter system is back up and running. Thank you.
