I'm looking to replace my pool cover (floating type) with a solid safety cover.
I have a 20x36 grecian pool with 4x8 center steps.
I've compared prices for a grecian cover, and am trying to decide if a 20x40 rectangular safety cover will work. The biggest problem is price. The grecian is usually considered "Custom" and comes with a pretty hefty price differential.
I have plenty of room around the pool (cement walkways and pavers) for a 20x40 (i know about the extra yard stakes for the pavers) and can't really figure out why i should NOT use the rectangular cover.
Anyone have any thoughts why a grecian cover is worth 30-50% more and why i should not get a rectangular cover???
thank you, Jay
