Having a 1981 underwater pool light and having difficulty finding a new seal, replacing the entire light may be the only solution. How do you tear out the old light and reseal the new power cord? Is this something a homeowner can accoplish?

Good morning. Yes, you may be able to change the pool light yourself. Sometimes it can be a little challenging due to 90 degree turns in the conduit of where the light cord is fed through. Please click here to check out our how-to guide video for installing a pool light for some guidance. Also please be sure to try and locate any model numbers of your pool light to locate a suitable compatible replacement.
