I have a Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro pump model P6E6G-208L.  Motor model K48N2PA105.  2 HP.  1.5 KW.  230 V.  3450 RPM.  Phase 1.  60 Hz. Service Factor 1.3.  Code H.

It's ~15 years old and sometimes siezes up before it can turn on, tripping its breaker.  I only want to run it about 20-30 minutes each day to pump water for a waterfall feature.  How do I figure out what I can replace it with?  It seems like some models are upwards $500 while others are around $250-300.  An exact replacement is even as much as $700 on other sites (I imagine because it's old / out of production).

Thank you.

The model that is very close to your pump is the Waterway Champion model CHAMPE-120. That is a full rated 2HP single speed pump. Click Here to View More Details on the Waterway Champion Pump

Waterway Champion 2.0 HP Full Rate EE Pool Pump - CHAMPE-120

Pumps that you find in the $200-$300 range are not going to be the same quality and they won't have the same output as your Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro.
