We would recommend Raypak model 014945. Model 014945 is a 406k btu natural gas heater with a cupro-nickel heat exchanger. It is designed for an elevation of 2000'-6000'.

When I go to the link for the Model 014945, it does say 2000-6000 feet in the title, but then in the description it says something different. Which one is correct?

Elevation: 0 Ft. – 2000 Ft. Click Here for High Altitude Pool Heaters

When I go to the High Altitude link, it suggests either Model 009223 or 009275. The less expensive one is Polymer Header type while the more expensive one is Cast Iron Header type. Can I assume that Cast Iron Headers are better?

Thanks,
Bryan

The 014945 is designed for 2000'-6000' elevation. I've corrected the elevation rating in the long description.

The cast iron headers are only required for commercial applications. They are supposed to be more durable but we haven't seen any issues with the polymer headers.
