I have a three year old Pentair 340038 pump that will not draw prime. I have tried everything suggested on your web site, including replacing the gasket for the skimmer cap, running water back throu the line, checking for leaks, , and still no luck. Do you have any suggestions as to what else I can try. or what else could be causing the prible,?

Found a chip in the Volute that was causing a leak. Ordered a replacement, so when it arrives and is installed, the problem should be solved. Thanks for the help and advice.
We'd be glad to assist you. Have you examined the impeller to see if it is clogged or damaged? Have you verified that there is not a clog in the suction line?
