Hayward 3\4 hp, in ground pool. (Small pool) I can't read the faded nomenclature tag. I think it says 1021 Motor. Checked with Hayward, but not much help. Is an older pump. Do you folks know what this is? I was thinking about replacing with the Purline PL 1.5 HP, 1601. What do you think?
Hello Mike - which model Hayward pump do you have? Either a picture of the pump housing or a clear picture of the model number tag on the pump housing would go a long way in finding a replacement. The label shown in the picture only describes the motor; but that motor can be fitted to dozens of pump housings which have various flow rates and applications.
