Guage not showing pressure ... 22# is shown when the valve is in the "Test" position but 0# in "filter."
Is it okay if there is water inside the face of the guage?

Hi DarylPLynch,
If you are getting 22# in the test position then it leads me to believe the gauge is working properly. I would follow the steps listed in our Article on How to fix Low Pool Pressure.
