Hello. I recently replaced my Hayward Super pump motor. The old motor had the mounting bracket melted onto it, so I changed that as well. The problem that I am having, is the vaccum line is not sucking. Sometimes it sucks a little and that is all. Also, the basket on the pump is about 3/4 full of water. The PSI on the sand filter is reading 20 psi and I just replaced it as it was not reading anything before. I can see the and fill a nice steady stream coming out of the pool jets ( or whatever they are called). I did purchase a new gasket when I purchased the motor for the pool pump. I'm not entirely sure that it is fitting 100%. I am wondering should I replace more parts for the motor? Is the gasket the problem. Could something be clogging the vacuum line and if so, how do I clear it? Thank you in advance.
