I have a SP1515-Z-1 Hayward Power-Flo Matrix 1.5 HP (15 Amp) pump for our fountain/reflection pool and cannot seem to find a plug-in timer that can be used to turn on pump while we are on vacation - do you know of one that can handle this load?

We spoke to Intermatic on this and they stated the following...
"The only option is to run a 20 amp circuit from the home to where the pump will be plugged in and use our P1131 with the 20amp 120 volt twist lock plug"
Here is the P1131 Timer and here is the Twist Lock Plug I believe you would also need to install a twist lock receptacle to accept the twist lock plug coming off of the timer.
