Hello everyone!

My pool pump started to whine and hum 2 days ago. It then started to smoke few hours after it whined and hummed so I ran to shut off the power to the pump. I opened the capacitor cover and it was fried. The capacitor located on the outside of the pump I replaced with a new one but now the pump isn't turning on. Capacitor was a Genteq 20uf 370VAC 50/60hz +6 -6% (part number 97F9602). I replaced it with one off amazon with the same specs except only difference was a +5 -5%. Does it matter it isn't +6 -6%? Could my motor be fried?

Thanks!!
