I am looking for the pool pump moter replacement. Currently I have Whisperflo WFE-4 pump case and a.o.smith 7-177450-03 1hp motor. This motor is making a loun noise while running. I'd like to know if you have a replacement motor and also if I can upgrade to 1.5 or 2 hp motor as well. Don J

Unless you need more flow for a water feature or spa jets, I would stick with the current 1HP option. The larger HP will cost more to operate and put more strain on the filter. However, you could go with a larger HP if you change the pump impeller as well.
