pool pump leaking again

just replaced my hayward superpump 2610x15 pump seal  that I got from inyopools  about 3 weeks ago.now pump is leaking again from beneath the pump as I can see water and salt stains.any reason why this has happened so soon?

so replaced the pump seal with the replacement seal you sent(thanks) and a new seal plate and no leaks! thanks for your help

That seal plate does look warped. My guess is that it would impact the seal between the seal plate and housing.

ok so I also ordered a new hayward seal plate and putting it in seems warped.will this affect it ? didnt know .have installed the new pump seal just having pt ut back in service with the warped seal plate

Sorry to hear that. We'll ship you another heavy-duty shaft seal at no charge. If it continues to leak, it has to be the seal plate or an incorrect installation of the shaft seal.

hard to tell from the photo.video was too large to post. took it all back apart and back together and still leaking from somewhere around plate

It is possible that one of the shaft seal pieces is not sitting flush against the seal plate or impeller. There could be s small crack in the seal plate where the shaft seal sits. 

The first step would be to take the pump apart and inspect the components. If everything looks fine, reinstall the shaft seal and reassemble the pump. If it continues to leak, contact our customer service. We'd be glad to assist you. Is it leaking between the motor and plate or between the pump housing and seal plate? Did you order the heavy-duty seal for salt water pools?
