 Hi My pools motor is not working . Its old and I probably should replace it. It is an A O Smith 1HP in ground pool motor.

The number is C48K2PA105. I also understand that I will probably need a seal kit. Unsure of how to describe the part. The piece attached to the motor has numbers inside on the area around the seal  C103-193P? Don't know if that helps.

Need some advice

Frank, the replacement single speed motor replacement is the model USQ1102 that you can view by clicking here. That part number that you located will not be enough to confirm the seal kit however you can either upload an image here of the complete pump or maybe its this pump below. If so you can view all of those pump parts details by clicking here.
