Hi!  I have an inground pool that had a leak into the light housing.  It rusted before I could get it fixed and now it does not power the bulb.

Is there such a thing as replacing the light housing without replacing the entire wire/cable that goes to the transformer?

Thank you!

Hello Steve - Unfortunately, the cable needs to be replaced when the light fixture is replaced. The cables should not be spliced together.

Hello SteveK - The niche is the can for the light fixture. The light niche does not normally need to be replaced. That is usually a bigger job that requires a pool professional.
