My in-ground liner pool light bulb needs to be replaced. The buildiner failed to leave enough slack on the cord to remove it entirly out of the water and the light is 12" under water. How can i replace the bulb and not drain the water to do this?

The only way to replace the bulb, in your case, will be to drain the water below the light fixture.

You could replace the entire fixture without having to drain the pool.
The pool was drained in the video below but it's not necessary.

There should be a sticker on the back of the fixture. Are you able to pool it away from the niche enough to see the back of the light?
