I've got in ground concrete pool with a few return jets where the eye of the jet has broken and or the face plate around them has cracked.

Can you suggest a replacement equipment?

Is just a simple unscrew and replace? Or is this a more involved job?

Thanks

Dan

Follow up question regarding this product.

I installed the new faceplates and everything went smoothly. I read that they should be directed towards the bottom of the pool and also at an angle for a clockwise flow. Also the flow doesn't disturb the surface of the water.

So I added the same amount of chlorine as I have for the past three years after the new install. However, it took about 7 days for chlorine levels to drop to a safe level.

I guess I should cut the added amount of chlorine in half.

Any thoughts on the matter or suggestions?

Thanks

Thanks for the update. What type of chlorine are you adding? Is it liquid shock, cal-hypo, di-chlor, or tabs?  Do you have a chlorine tablet feeder?

16,000 gallons, oval shape

Has an automatic in line chlorine feeder. Had the setting on 7

Typically I put in 4 clorox tablets / 1 bag of clorox granule shock in the deep end

Also I used to put 2 tablets in a floating chlorine feeder

Like I was saying that amount used to work fine but now it appears to be way too much

I would just dial it back until your free chlorine level stays in the 3-5 ppm range.
