I have a Raypak 406A pool heater. I just recently replaced the gas valve Robertshaw 7000. As I set the desired temperature the unit sparks 3x and ignites, it then runs for about 3-5 minutes and shuts off without reaching the desired temperature. The unit then goes on to spark continuously without lighting

It sounds like a fuel supply issue, a problem with the meter, an undersized gas line, or an incorrectly installed valve. I would contact Raypak tech support or a company that services gas heaters.
