Hello,

I have a Maytronics Dolphin Nautilus with a bad cable, and I ordered one from you (order# SO190003155) about a week ago.  I received it however, the connector has a female end without an adapter.  The old cable has the threaded plastic piece, but getting onto the new cable could be an issue.  Therefore, I wanted to speak with you before going any further with the project.  The part I received is #9995862-DIY.  Thank you for any help you may be able to provide.

Hello Don - I've reached out to Maytronics for some assistance on this. They may take a couple of days to respond. I'll keep you posted.

Hello Don - This is the response I received from Maytronics.

In order to provide accurate information, we need some clarification.
Which Nautilus do you have?
Nautilus
Nautilus CC
Nautilus CC Plus

A couple of concerns

  • The cable you listed, 9995862-DIY corresponds with the Nautilus CC Plus
  • Cables that end in DIY are complete cables.  Both ends are molded on.  If you have exposed wires on one end you have an ASSY cable.

Is it possible to provide us with a picture of the cable and the end in question? And if there is a white sticker that is still wrapped around the cable, can we have a picture of that?

Thank you for the images. I've sent them over to Maytronics to review.

Have a great weekend.

Assuming that you have the Nautilus, 9995861-DIY would be the correct cable. Click Here to View the 9995861-DIY Cable.

Below was the response from Maytronics.

Thanks for the images, it helps tremendously! And it's what I thought the screw cap.
So we need to confirm which Nautilus unit he has, we have three.

The Nautilus takes a 9995861-DIY
The Nautilus CC takes a 9995844-DIY
The Nautilus CC Plus takes a 9995862-DIY

I think they need a 9995861-DIY but I would like to confirm the correct unit first.

Hi Rob,

The cable they suggest looks just like the old cable on my cleaner, with the threaded sleeve/screw cap.  Can I return the "9995862-DIY" to you and get the other "9995861-DIY"?

Thank you,

Don
