I have a 6 year old Polaris 280 cleaner. In the past few weeks all of the wheel treads have come lose and it leaks from the middle body seam. My pool water appears to be balanced based upon my test strips. Would a water condition cause these things to happen to my Polaris cleaner? Thanks.

Most often, these types of failures are due to chlorine and the sun causing parts to become brittle over the years.
