I have a Pentair Minimaz NT 400K BTU heater.  It throws an E02 after running for a while.  I've replaced the thermistor, and both thermostats show continuity.  What else could I check?

We'd be glad to assist you. We have heard of the hi-limit passing the continuity test when it's cold but it fails once the heater runs for a while and turns off. I'll reach out to our Pentair rep and see if he has any other ideas.

Thanks.  I'm wondering if I should just go ahead and replace both thermostats.  I keep hearing that the flow valve is a potential source of problems, too... I may take it out and try the hot/cold water thing.

Pentair thought it could still be one of the hi-limits or perhaps the control board.
