My current pump (Hayward Superpump, 1hp) has died and I'm looking to replace it, hopefully with a variable speed model. In ground pool, roughly 39000 gal. 115V. I notice there are a couple of VS pumps will run on 115, but most are 230. I'm willing to run a new 230 line if the cost can be justified. Any advice would be appreciated.

We'd recommend the Pentair SuperFlo VS model 342001. It's a dual voltage 1.5HP variable speed pump and it's a drop-in replacement for the Hayward Super Pump.
