I have a Praher SM20-2 valve. The spider gasket is glued in and is nearly impossible to remove. Does Pentair or Hayward have an equivalent replacement that does not require glue on the spider gasket?

Hi tcg1234,
Unfortunately, they all are glued in. At the 1:40 minute mark of our Video on How to Replace a Spider Gasket, it shows how to remove the glued-in spider gasket. If the spider gasket is really glued on tightly to the diverter then I would suggest a new diverter and spider gasket, this way you are starting off with a clean and smooth diverter.
