Can a solar ionizer be used with a salt system? And what about a instant frog mineralizer can't it be used for a salt water pool?

Yes, you can use a salt system with either an Ionizer or a Frog System. The Ionizer or Frog System will allow you to maintain a lower chlorine residual which will mean you will dial the salt system to a lower setting thus getting longer life out of your salt cell and having a pool with less chlorine.
