Bought a intex Sand Fliter 3,000 gph, for my intex 14 ft pool. Thought we hooked it up properly, but as soon as we turned it on, the top bursted open and water wouldnt stop leaking. Now the filter is full of water and sand got into the pool. What did I do wrong? And how can I fix it? Please and thank you! Getting a bit desperate now considering how much the filter cost. Thanks!

Hi Jay122,
I would check that there was nothing blocking the plumbing on discharge/return side of the filter (i.e. a closed valve, or blockage in the plumbing).
