I can't identify my Hayward Super II pump model number.  It has a century 2hp motor on it.  What size impeller do i use?

There are a couple of 2HP motor options and the impeller is different for both. What is the catalog or part number on the motor label?

Thanks. I got the motor from INYO.  Century 2.0 HP Round Flange 56J Up Rate Motor - UST1202

Assuming your Super II pump was manufactured after 1990, the impeller would be part number 5110-10L.

Would this impeller 3016-c pair with diffuser SP3021-B  on a new V-green 2.6HP motor?

I also wonder if they are compatible with diffuser SP3021-B.

We recommend matching the impeller and diffuser with the pump and the motor for the best efficiency.  The SP3021-B diffuser should be used with 1-1/2 to 3 HP Full Rated Super II pumps made after 1990 or 2 to 3HP Uprated Super II pumps made after 1990.  Just be sure to get an impeller (like the 5110-10L) that is at or a little under the maximum horsepower of the motor.  The V-Green 2.7 HP Round Flange 56J Variable Speed Motor - ECM27CU would work very well with it.

See our article on Are All Motors Created Equal? for an explanation of full- and uprated motors.
