My 1 year old pump (SP2670007X10 Hayward Super Pump 700 series with cooling fan) is leaking. I’ve purchased a new seal assembly as that is likely the problem. However, I cannot remove the impeller to replace the seal. My pump has the enclosed fan-cooled motor design at the back and top-mount wiring compartment. This design does not give me access to the motor shaft. I can only fit a screwdriver into the fan but that does not give me enough leverage to loosen the impeller. There are no instrumental videos on how to do this with the enhanced model pump. Is there another way to get access to the seal assembly? Thank you.
