Looking to buy a heat pump for our pool. We are located in the northeast (Massachusetts), where the summers are warm, but the shoulder seasons can be chilly, especially at night. We wouldn't need to use the heater during the summer, but really to get it to a minimum temp (low 80's), then in the summer it usually hits high 80's with no heater. We would then use again in the fall.
Our pool is about 33K gallons. Looking to understand what may be the best heat pump out there for this application.
Can you please explain the difference in Hayward Heat Pro 140,000 to the Low ambient model?
I'm looking to heat a 16X32' gunite with a depth of 9.5 feet at deep portion. Any suggestions on an electric heat pump?
Also, do you have tax on an item shipped to 11764?

Based on the information you supplied we would suggest the Hayward HP21404T Heat Pro Heat Pump. We did a heat pump audit with Hayward for your pool and below is how this heat pump would perform on your pool. Please note the difference in operational cost with and without a cover, we always suggest a Solar Blanket when using a heater as it will drastically reduce your operational costs.
