Hey all, I have a SP2603VSP. My house is going to be running off generator for about 4 hours tomorrow during utility maintenance. It will be about 36 degrees. I don't want my pump to kick on while running off generator. If I use the stop function on the stop/resume button, will that stop it/shut it off to the point where freeze protect wouldn't kick in, or do I have to completely cut the power to it?

Hi Matthew, I would recommend cutting power to the pump at its breaker to be 100% certain it will not turn on.  I assume the power will kick off completely for at least a few seconds before the generator kicks in, so anything you do on the control panel might be "forgotten" by the time the generator transfer switch powers your house up again.

Thanks. I didn't think about it resetting due to the downtime.
