Hello,
I have a hayward max-flow vs pump that needs a motor. Can I replace it with ECM27SQU? If so, would i need to upgrade the impeller/diffuser to get the extra flow?

Hi Albert - it might work, but there were a few versions of that pump manufactured so we would want to be certain before recommending a replacement. What horsepower is the motor that is currently on your MaxFlo VS? Upload pictures of the motor label and the pump label (or the pump itself) if you are unsure.
