I have a ten year old Hayward 3620 DE Filter. This summer I noticed that after I vacuum, there is a debris field of very fine silt on the floor of the pool just forward of each of six return outlets. I have noticed close up that when I vacuum there is debris coming out of the returns. What an exercise in futility; the same material I am vacuuming only to be coming back into the pool. The water is clear, there is no DE coming back into the pool. I'm surmising that that filter screen need replacing. Is this the likely culprit or is there some other reason for this occurance. Your advice appreciated. This is the first time this have ever occured since I changed over from a sand to a DE filter ten years ago.
