Hayward Acid Feed System AQL-Chem4-Acid
Pump ACX03590120
Panel send signal to pump to start, small light on pump motor flashed green then turns solid red. Pump does not start. Pump was working prior, this just started. Unit is 3-4 years old.

This points to an internal malfunction with the acid feed pump. The only thing to check is the incoming voltage. Make sure that the voltage incoming to the pump matches the incoming voltage of the control unit. Otherwise, the pump would need to be replaced.

Yes, Thank you! For anyones future reference the pump was replaced and system is working now. I took the motor apart and discovered that acid had penetrated the housing due to leak in the sanoprene feed line and coroded the electronics. Thank you for your help on this. It was comforting to find a place to ask equiptment questions!
