Hi,
I'm trying to get my girlfriend's pool in shape and right off the bat, I found that her filter motor is shot. She has the STA-RITE Model P2RA5D-180L. Do you have a replacement motor for that?

The gasket in your picture is meant to go between the pump strainer (key 27) and tank body (key 15).
If it's leaking between the motor and seal plate, the issue is the shaft seal. It may not be installed properly.

How can I send you a video. I installed the replacement motor (USQ1072) you sent me to replace the STA-RITE Model P2RA5D-180L motor that was on the system. Well, it works but it's leaking very badly. I'm thinking that the gasket that came with the motor is not the right gasket. I've sent a picture.

Nope, most often that is what pool owners replace. The motor and seal kit. Although, here is the Duraglass parts diagram for your records as well.

Thanks! I'm definetly going to order the replacement motor and the seal kit you pointed out. Also, I wouldn't have known about the copper cone. That pool is such a mess! I'm hoping that replacing the motor is all it takes to get her up and running. Anything else come to mind that I should be aware of?

Jimmy, yes the original replacement motor for your model pump is the USQ1072 and the seal kit if you need that is the GOKIT54. Just keep in mind that if you have the copper cone in the seal plate that you would need to remove that.
