Does Pentair sell just the two o-rings that are part of the float valve assembly 8650-39 without having to buy the entire assembly? I am assuming that 8650-79 is the main part for assembly 8650-39? If not please correct my understanding. Thanks

Yes you can purchase just the o-ring here Pentair Float Valve O-Ring this is shown as Key # 4 on this Sta-Rite Skimmer Parts Breakdown
Yes this 08650-0079 Float Valve Assembly will replace the older 08650-0039

Thank you for the information. There are 2 o-rings in this assembly. Thank you for identifying the o-ring that is approximately 6 inches in diameter. Do you carry, and what are the part numbers for the 2nd o-ring which is approximately 3 inches in diameter? Thank you for your help!

I'm sorry we show that Pentair does not sell the individual parts inside of the Float Valve Assembly so the entire flow assembly would be require to purchase if you need that 3" o-ring inside of the float valve.
