I opened my pool and when I turned it to filter to circulate the pool shock it worked fine and then we realized it was also sending water out the drain hose into our driveway. This is happening everytime I turn it on, the top of the multivalve assembly is leaking and hard to turn and doesn't seem to want to latch into place like it did. what do you think I need?

The gasket within the diverter is likely bad. Jandy doesn't have a lot of options as far as replacement parts for the SFTM valve. They offer a rebuild kit or a complete valve. The rebuild kit costs almost as much as a new valve. The kit is part number 4580-170 and the complete valve is part number 4581-046.
