Draining in Phoenix Area - pool pop risk zero?

Hello,

I have decided to drain and refill my PebbleTec pool.  I am in the west Phoenix area, Peoria to be exact.  I have been nervous to drain it myself because of risk of damage.  From what I understand, our water table is around 300 ft. down.

Does this mean that we have zero chance for pool pop when draining?

Any other damage risk factors to consider?

Thanks!

Your chances of getting enough hydrostatic pressure to pop it up is probably pretty close to zero with the nearest water 300 feet below you, but I would refill it as soon as possible.  The surfaces of inground pools do like to be "wet", so you probably face more possibilities of issues with that than the water table.
