I had an above ground pool installed at the house, we sunk it 22", but the pool installer told me I didn't need a permit...WRONG. Well the pool is installed and I need to know what the legal setbacks are AND do I need two drains like what is demanded in inground pools and if I do how do I do that??? I am in Sarasota County..thanx mike

Hello Drasylum - The majority of above ground pools do not have or require main drains. We would recommend checking with your local department of health. They should be able to advise you if there are specific guidelines for your above ground pool.
